Fareham-based company L&S Waste Management has agreed an extension of their ongoing sponsorship deal with Portsmouth Football Club for the 2022/23 season.
The deal underlines L&S’ commitment to PFC, with what is now their tenth successive season of sponsorship, having been an official club partner since 2013.
The announcement comes on the back of a £11.5 million investment by the club in the stadium and its facilities, which includes significant improvements to both the North and South stands, while increasing capacity at the ground to over 20,000.
L&S Waste Managing Director, Mick Balch, said: “The investment that PFC has made in the stadium and its facilities will greatly enhance the supporter experience and we have been particularly impressed with the upgrades to the L&S South Stand.
“We are proud to continue our sponsorship at such an exciting period in the Club’s history.”
Chief Commercial Officer at PFC, Anna Mitchell, said: “As a major local employer and prominent business, which has serviced our community for over 25 years, L&S is the ideal partner for Portsmouth Football Club.
“We are extremely grateful to L&S for their continued support and loyalty, especially during the past couple of difficult years as we have struggled with Covid restrictions. They have been an integral part of the football club over the past 10 years, and we look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship this season and beyond.”
L&S Waste currently employs more than 150 people across Hampshire and operates a fleet of 100 vehicles across its three sites across the south coast, delivering a full range of waste management, concrete, aggregate and portable toilet services.
