We hold Silver level of FORS and CLOCS accreditation, which provides our team and our customers with the reassurance that our operation is being run on sound principles.

Our current fleets consists of:

12t Skip trucks smaller for access into tighter sites
18t Skip trucks
32t RORO trucks
26t Grab trucks with 11.2t carrying capacity
44t Artic unit and trailers (aggregate and walking and ejector trailer types)
32t Tippers that carry around 19t of material
VCM which are either 38t and can pour between 9 and 10mtrs of concrete or 44t and can pour between 11 and 12mtrs
Concrete rigid pumps, which can pump uphill 30mtrs downhill 110mtrs and flat ground 90mtrs
Road sweepers
Caged vans (7.5t with tail lift and 3.5t with tail lift)

Our fleet is equipped with the latest Euro 6 engines, and safety features such as 4-way camera systems, left audible warning systems, dirt repellent lighting, Fresnall lenses, and new vehicle warning signage.

L&S is the only waste management company in Hampshire, and one of only five in the UK, to achieve the Silver Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Accreditation for Multiple Operating Sites.

FORS is a voluntary scheme designed to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and to encourage companies to achieve the highest industry standards.

We currently hold the much-coveted Silver Multi Level Operating Centre Accreditation (MOCA) for our fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles operating across our sites in Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton.

L&S operates one of the largest, newest and environmentally efficient fleets on the south coast supporting its full range of services, including waste removal, skip hire, aggregates, muck away, aggregates, ready mixed concrete, concrete pumping and a road sweeper service.
